EPOWERdoc to Supply EMR to Guam Memorial Hospital
OMAHA, Neb.—The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority has selected EPOWERdoc to provide its EMRdoc electronic medical record (EMR) platform in its emergency department. This is the first EMR client outside of the continental United States for EPOWERdoc and is an indicator of the growing demand for the product, built specifically for use in the emergency department.
EPOWERdoc has been successful in providing a solution that meets the unique needs of emergency departments throughout the U.S. The EPOWERdoc platform was designed by practicing Emergency Department physicians and offers an array of intuitive tools aimed at facilitating efficient and effective care in the emergency department.

Located in Oka, Tamuning, Guam Memorial Hospital is Guam's only public hospital, with a licensed bed capacity of 158 acute care beds, plus 40 licensed long-term care beds at its Skilled Nursing Facility located in Barrigada Heights. The availability of beds for actual admissions at both facilities necessarily varies in accordance with the availability of fully trained and licensed staff.
