Seminole Hospital District of Seminole, Texas, which includes Memorial Hospital, has selected EPOWERdoc as its electronic medical record (EMR) provider in its emergency department. The EPOWERdoc team is engaged with the information technology department at the medical center to bring the EMR live in early 2017.

EPOWERdoc has been selected to provide its emergency medical record (EMR) to ER Centers of America (ERCA) Family ER and Urgent Care centers in Plano, Texas and Lubbock, Texas. The two sites went live with the EMR in the fall.

When it opens in December, the new Select ER in Sherman, Texas will use the EPOWERdoc emergency medical record (EMR). The EPOWERdoc team is engaged with the information technology department at the freestanding emergency center to bring the EMR live in the coming weeks. This is the second Select ER location that will use the EPOWERdoc EMR.

The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority has selected EPOWERdoc to provide its EMRdoc electronic medical record (EMR) platform in its emergency department. This is the first EMR client outside of the continental United States for EPOWERdoc and is an indicator of the growing demand for the product, built specifically for use in the emergency department.

Now a week removed from #NAFEC2016, we’ve had some time to absorb the great information that was presented. It was enlightening and encouraging all at once. The one prevailing theme that we pulled away—we found it in every keynote, breakout and sidebar discussion we had—is that this is just the beginning for the Freestanding industry.

There are no doubts that great things are on the horizon. And with that said, here are 5 of our takeaways in no particular order.
